The LP DAAC is one of the NASA Earth Observing System Data and Information System (EOSDIS) DAACs that manages, archives and distributes Earth science data as part of the Earth Science Data Systems Program. LP DAAC operates as a partnership with the United States Geological Survey (USGS) and is located at the USGS Earth Resources Observation and Science (EROS) Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
