ASTER Pricing Announcement
The LP DAAC announces NASA's new ASTER Data Pricing Policy.
Effective August 10, 2005, an $80 charge per granule (scene) for FTP orders, and a $91 charge per granule (scene) for media orders (CD, DVD, and DLT) will be placed on ASTER Data.
ASTER Data Products included in this new Pricing Policy:
- Level 1A
- Level 1B
ASTER Data Pool holdings will continue to be offered at no charge.
We will process all orders submitted before August 10, 2005 under the current pricing policy regardless of their distribution date and time.
We will continue to charge a $5 handling fee on all orders; additionally, international orders will be charged a $20 shipping fee, excluding FTP.
