ASTER Shortwave Infrared (SWIR) Crosstalk-Corrected Products

LP DAAC has released a new suite of ASTER SWIR crosstalk-corrected products that are available for ordering. The following links provide product descriptions for these new releases. These are provided individually for each sensor. The distinguishing short names are provided in parenthesis:

• ASTER On-Demand L2 Surface Reflectance VNIR (AST_07XT)
• ASTER On-Demand L2 Surface Reflectance SWIR Crosstalk-Corrected (AST_07XT)
• ASTER On-Demand L2 Surface Radiance VNIR (AST_09XT)
• ASTER On-Demand L2 Surface Radiance SWIR Crosstalk-Corrected (AST_09XT)

It is important to point out that the VNIR reflectance and radiance products are provided along with the SWIR crosstalk-corrected products only because they are distributed as part of the same package. The VNIR products are not affected by the crosstalk problem.

The LP DAAC continues to offer the original suite of SWIR crosstalk-uncorrected radiance and reflectance products.
