ASTER Pricing Announcement

The LP DAAC announces NASA’s new ASTER Data Pricing Policy.

Effective January 25, 2006, an $80 charge per granule (scene) for FTP orders, and a $91 charge per granule (scene) for media orders, will be placed on all ASTER data (including Level 2 data and higher-level products), with the exception of select ASTER Data Pool holdings that will continue to be offered at no charge.

ASTER Data Products included in this Pricing Policy:

• Level 1A
• Level 1B
• Level 2
• ASTER DEM

We will process all orders submitted before January 25, 2006 under the current pricing policy regardless of their distribution date and time.

We will continue to charge a $5 handling fee on all orders; additionally, international orders will be charged a $20 shipping fee, excluding FTP.
