LP DAAC Service Outages April 15-18 and April 22-23, 2005

Extended periods of service interruption are planned that will affect data search/order/download capabilities and access to LP DAAC website material. The times provided are estimates only. The actual outage times could possibly vary considerably from these forecast times. We apologize for this inconvenience.

Friday-Monday, April 15-18, 2005: LP DAAC ASTER Ordering Not Available

ASTER ordering services via the EOS Data Gateway and GloVis will be interrupted beginning Friday, April 15, at approximately 3:00 pm Central through Monday, April 18, at approximately 7:00 am Central. ASTER orders placed during this period via the EOS Data Gateway and GloVis will fail and an error message will be received. The actual outage times could possibly vary considerably from these forecast times. Note that other data search and order services, except for ASTER via the EOS Data Gateway or GloVis, will remain available via the links provided below. ASTER data can be obtained from the Data Pool during this period, and custom ASTER processing (On-Demand) services will remain available. Please save this page for later reference if you wish to search and order data during the outage.

Saturday, April 16, 2005: LP DAAC Website Not Available

The LP DAAC website will be unavailable from approximately 6:30am to 9:00pm Central on Saturday, April 16, due to scheduled maintenance. This outage will affect access to website content. The actual outage times could possibly vary considerably from these forecast times. Note, however, that ordering services, except for ASTER via the EOS Data Gateway or GloVis, will remain available via the links provided below. ASTER data can be obtained from the Data Pool during this period, and custom ASTER processing (On-Demand) services will remain available. Please save this page for later reference if you wish to search and order data during the outage.

Friday-Saturday, April 22-23, 2005: LP DAAC Data Search/Order/Download Not Available

All LP DAAC systems (except the LP DAAC web server) will be unavailable from approximately 10:00 pm Friday, April 22, until approximately 11:15 am Saturday, April 23. The actual outage times could possibly vary considerably from these forecast times. The LP DAAC EOS Data Gateway, Data Pool, ASTER On Demand ordering, and EOSDIS data ingest, archive, production and distribution systems will be unavailable during this outage. Data search via GloVis will be available during this time, but it will not be possible to place orders.
