Forward processing of all Terra MODIS, Aqua MODIS, and the combined Terra+Aqua MODIS Version 5 land data products was discontinued on March 30, 2017. Data remained available for one year after production ceased, allowing the MODIS community to transition to the improved Version 6 products. Distribution of the MODIS Version 4 and 5 land data products, with the exception of the Land Cover products (MCD12s), was discontinued as of April 9, 2018. Documentation for these data products, including corresponding User Guides and Algorithm Theoretical Basis Documents, is still available, and can be found below.
