The Land Processes (LP) Distributed Active Archive Center (DAAC), in cooperation with the Department of Interior Remote Sensing Working Group conducted a Land Remote Sensing Data Access Workshop in Denver during March 13 and 14, 2012. The workshop was a joint effort between the Landsat Program and the United States Geological Survey (USGS) Long Term Archive covering:
• characteristics of important NASA and USGS land remote sensing data products
• policies affecting access to these data products
• how data products are being used across multiple application areas
• what new products are being planned for the future
• which data access mechanisms are available for getting products of interest
