NASA's Earth Science Data System supports a program called Making Earth Science Data Records for Use in Research Environments (MEaSUREs), under which several investigators are developing long-term, consistent, high quality Earth Science data records (ESDRs) for the land remote sensing community. The Land Processes Distributed Active Archive Center (LP DAAC) is preparing to archive and distribute several of these ESDRs, subject to recommendations from recent community reviews.
