The Land Processes Distributed Active Archive Center (LP DAAC) is pleased to announce the availability of the new Monthly Terra and Aqua Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) Version 6.1 Water Reservoir data products. These datasets provide a monthly time series of reservoir area, elevation, storage capacity, evaporation rate, and evaporation volume for 151 man-made reservoirs and 13 regulated natural lakes across the globe.
