MODIS Collection-4 Products Decommissioning Beginning January 31, 2009

The Collection-4 MODIS products (Version 004) are scheduled for decommissioning from the LP DAAC archives beginning January 31, 2009. The following version 004 products are slated for retention:

• All MODIS version 004 Golden Month products
• All MODIS version 004 Land Surface Temperature/Emissivity products
• All MODIS version 004 Climate Modeling Grid products
• All MODIS version 004 Land Cover products
• All MODIS version 004 Vegetation Cover Conversion products

Users are requested to order their choice of MODIS version 004 products in the remaining time before January 31, 2009.
