The LP DAAC is aware of an issue affecting MODIS data availability. Users downloading orders from Reverb, EarthData, or EarthExplorer; or users accesing data via the Data Pool may encounter a Checksum error. Users accessing data via LP DAAC services, such as OPeNDAP or MRTWeb, may receive errors in processing.
The source of the issue has been identified and is being addressed. MODIS data updates are on-going.
As a best practice, submit an order for your data sets so the granules will be prioritized and made available as soon as is possible. Submit an order using Reverb (http://reverb.echo.nasa.gov/reverb). The LP DAAC ECS Order Notification email may take a few additional business days to arrive.
For LP DAAC services, errors will be resolved once corrected data has been put in place.
