Release of AρρEEARS 2.0: Area Sampler Transitions from Beta to Operational

By: LP DAAC

The Area Sample feature in the Application for Extracting and Exploring Analysis Ready Samples (AρρEEARS) is now operational with the release of Version 2.0. The Area Sampler enables users to subset one or more geographic areas (polygons) temporally, and by layer, as well as mosaic, reformat and reproject the data in one simple step. In addition to returning area-specific raw data values, AppEEARS also returns quality data with definitions. Interactive graphs and plots are available within the interface to explore trends in the data before download. The Area Sample functionality complements the existing operational ability to request Point Samples using geographic coordinates. Access AppEEARS here.
