The LP DAAC has released the MODIS Version 6 Burned Area Monthly L3 product and currently includes data collected November 2000 through November 2016. This collection will continue to grow as data are produced chronologically. Users are encourage to transition from the MCD45A1 Version 5 product to the improved MCD64A1 Version 6 product.
