The purpose of this webinar is to provide the viewer with information about NASA MODIS and ASTER data holdings and to showcase how to access these data products by using the user-friendly Earth Explorer Tool. The USGS EarthExplorer (EE) tool provides users the ability to query, search, and order satellite images, aerial photographs, and cartographic products from several sources, including the USGS and NASA's Land Processes Distributed Active Archive Center(LP DAAC). In addition to data from the Landsat missions and a variety of other data providers, EE also provides access to NASA land processes data- MODIS land data products from the NASA Terra and Aqua missions, and ASTER level-1B data products over the U.S. and Territories.
