Aqua MODIS was put back on science mode on April 15, 2022, but the data were unusable as collection occurred entirely in night mode and Focal-Plane Array (FPA) temperatures were continuing to stabilize. The regular day rate data collection started on April 16, 2022, but the FPA temperatures had not cooled to nominal levels until April 17, 2022. MODAPS has started generating and distributing all Aqua data on NRT starting on April 17, 2022 (day 2022107-00:30z) but users are requested to exercise caution as the MODIS Characterization Support Team (MCST) is still conducting intensive assessment of all instrument and onboard calibration devices.
