On August 26, 2015 the LP DAAC released the MODIS V006 Thermal Anomalies and Fire products suite. This release includes data collected from February 2000 through December 2011. This collection will continue to grow as data are produced chronologically. MODIS V006 forward processing will begin after the historical processing has completed, and MODIS V005 forward processing will continue until further notice. Products included in this release are listed below.
