Reprocessing of ECOSTRESS Data Products for January 15-31, 2022

Feb 14, 2022
By: LP DAAC

ECOSTRESS Level 2-4 data products for January 15-31, 2022, have an error in data processing due to a glitch in the atmospheric correction code that resulted in incorrect GEOS-5 data being used as an ancillary input. To ensure the distribution of quality data, the ECOSTRESS Level 2-4 products for this period are unavailable as of February 4, 2022. Users who accessed ECOSTRESS L2-4 data for January 15-31, 2022, through AppEEARS, Data Pool, or NASA’s Earthdata Search are highly encouraged to utilize corrected data products for science analysis once they become available. The LP DAAC will release a follow up announcement once the data have been reprocessed.
