In July 2012, the MEaSUREs Vegetation Phenology and Vegetation Index Products from Multiple Long Term Satellite Data Records (VIP) project released version 2 of its vegetation index products. The product suite is comprised of daily, 7-day, 15-day, and monthly temporal intervals covering the period 1981 to 2010.
