Short Description: During this webinar we will provide answers to commonly asked questions about NASA land processes data, services and tools, and show you how to navigate the new NASA Land Processes Distributed Active Archive Center (LP DAAC ) website to discover data resources. Detailed Description: Each year since 2004, NASA’s Earth Science Data and Information System (ESDIS) Project sends an American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) survey to its global data user community to evaluate overall satisfaction with the Earth science data products, services, and tools provided by NASA’s Earth Observing System Data and Information System (EOSDIS) and made available through EOSDIS DAACs. Responses to this annual survey impact what NASA’s LP DAAC does behind the scenes, such as improving features in a tool, updating data product documentation, creating new e-learning items (e.g., data tutorials, videos, etc.), and providing suggestions for new ‘Data in Action’ stories highlighting how data from the LP DAAC are used in research and applications. During this webinar we will provide answers to commonly-asked LP DAAC related questions received during the ACSI survey and questions asked throughout the year by users who have contacted our User Services Team. We will also showcase user resources provided by NASA’s LP DAAC, including how to navigate the enhanced LP DAAC website, to help you find even more answers to questions you might have in the future.
