The LP DAAC is pleased to announce the availability of the 2005 epoch of the monthly and yearly NASA Making Earth System Data Records for Use in Research Environments (MEaSUREs) Global Web-Enabled Landsat Data (GWELD) Version 3.2 product at a 30 meter spatial resolution. The GWELD v3.2 2005 epoch contains data from January 1, 2004, through December 31, 2006. These new data are generated from Landsat 5 Thematic Mapper (TM) and Landsat 7 Enhanced Thematic Mapper plus (ETM+) images in the United States Geological Survey (USGS) Landsat Collection 2 archive. The GWELD products provide Nadir Bidirectional Reflectance Distribution Function (BRDF)-Adjusted Reflectance (NBAR) for the reflective wavelength bands and Top of Atmosphere (TOA) brightness temperature for the thermal bands. The products use the same Sinusoidal grid tiling system as NASA’s Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) land product tiles.
