The USGS EROS Center, where the LP DAAC is located, will be having an extended Preventative Maintenance (PM) period on Friday, March 7 through Saturday March 8, 2025. As we prepare for this PM, access to on-premises LP DAAC data, tools, and services will be unavailable from 5:00 pm on Thursday, March 6 until 10:00 pm Central Standard Time (CST) on Saturday, March 8, while we work to bring the services back online.
The following LP DAAC tools will be unavailable during this time: The LP DAAC Data Pool, the LP DAAC Website, the Advanced Spaceborne Thermal Emission and Reflection Radiometer (ASTER) Data Acquisition Request (DAR) Tool, the ASTER Emergency Scheduling Interface and Control System (AESICS), and the ASTER Expedited Data Set (EDS) archive. LP DAAC access will also be unavailable from OPeNDAP, and ordering of LP DAAC ASTER data using the Simple, Scalable, Script-Based Science Processor for Missions (S4PM) will be unavailable during this time. AppEEARS will still be available and accepting orders during this time, but processing times may be delayed depending on the source of the data requested.
Thank you for your patience during this extended downtime. We offer our sincerest apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.
