NASAs Science Mission Directorate/Earth-Sun System/Data and Services/Land Processes Distributed Active Archive Center (LP DAAC) presents a workshop that describes the ASTER and MODIS instruments, which operate on the Earth Observing Systems (EOS) Terra and Aqua satellites. Information on these instruments, along with the specific properties of the data will be discussed. Next, we will walk through the methods of locating these data on-line, review available data sets through quick look browse images, and will discuss methods to order these data to be delivered to your desktop. This is an introductory level workshop, so no ASTER or MODIS experience is required.
