Description

The EarthExplorer (EE) user interface, developed by the United States Geological Survey (USGS), provides online search, browse display, metadata export, and data download of satellite, aircraft, and other remote sensing inventories. NASA LP DAAC Collections in EE include: MODIS land data products from both the NASA Terra and Aqua missions, AST_L1T and ASTER GDEM data products acquired from the NASA ASTER mission, NASA MEaSUREs products, ASTER Global Emissivity Datasets, VIIRS data products from the NOAA/NASA joint Suomi National Polar-Orbiting Partnership (S-NPP) satellite, and ECOSTRESS products.

Dependencies

EarthExplorer requires the use of NASA Earthdata Login and USGS EROS Registration System (ERS) accounts to download data products from the LP DAAC. Information on how to sign up for an Earthdata Login account can be found at https://urs.earthdata.nasa.gov/users/new. Information for an ERS Account can be found at https://ers.cr.usgs.gov/register.
