The Land Processes Distributed Active Archive Center (LP DAAC) has released the ASTER GED Monthly Version 4.1 dataset that has been produced at 0.05° (~5 km) resolution and is in Hierarchical Data Format 5 (HDF5).These data currently have a date range from 2000 to 2015 with updates expected annually.
For further details on product changes and information, see the AG5KMMOH.041 product page.Note: The previous AG5KMMOH.004 dataset has been decommissioned.
This data is available for download from the LP DAAC Data Pool, Reverb and on the Earthdata Search Client.
The LP DAAC has also decommissioned certain ASTER GED data sets in binary format and Network Common Data Format 4 (NetCDF4).Users are encouraged to use the ASTER GED datasets in HDF5. The datasets that have been decommissioned are listed below.
