The LP DAAC is pleased to announce the availability of the ECOsystem Spaceborne Thermal Radiometer Experiment on Space Station (ECOSTRESS) Level 2 gridded land surface temperature and emissivity (LSTE) and gridded cloud mask (CLOUD) Version 2 data products. These products are produced by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) and offered at a spatial resolution of 70 meters (m). This release includes the LSTE and CLOUD gridded data products from October 26, 2022, to present, with plans for historical data processing to begin in the near future.
Attached to the International Space Station (ISS), ECOSTRESS measures the Earth's surface temperature to better understand how much water is used by plants. More information on ECOSTRESS can be found on the ECOSTRESS website.
