On September 9, 2015 the LP DAAC released the MODIS Version 6 Level 2 Gridded (L2G) thermal band reflectance products. This release includes data collected from February 2000 through November 2012. This collection will continue to grow as data are produced chronologically. MODIS Version 6 forward processing will begin after the historical processing has completed, and MODIS Version 5 forward processing will continue until further notice. Products included in this release are listed below.
