The Land Processes Distributed Active Archive Center (LP DAAC) is pleased to announce the availability of the Terra+Aqua combined Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) Version 6.1 Burned Area data product. This collection will continue to grow as historical and forward processing is completed. Details on product improvements for Version 6.1 are provided on the Digital Object Identifier (DOI) landing page. The Version 6 burned area data product will remain available and will continue with forward processing during this transition.
