The Land Processes Distributed Active Archive Center (LP DAAC) is pleased to announce the availability of the Terra Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) Version 6.1 Vegetation Continuous Fields data product in yearly intervals at 250 meter spatial resolution. The start date of the annual period for the MOD44B product begins with day of year 65 which corresponds to March 6 (March 5 for leap year). Details on product improvements for Version 6.1 are provided on the Digital Object Identifier (DOI) landing pages.
Version 6 vegetation continuous fields data products will remain available for download and will continue with forward processing through the end of the calendar year.
