The Land Processes Distributed Active Archive Center (LP DAAC) is pleased to announce the availability of the new Terra and Aqua Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) Version 6.1 Water Reservoir data products. These datasets provide an 8-day time series of surface area, elevation, and water storage for 151 man-made reservoirs and 13 regulated natural lakes across the globe.
