Release of ECOSTRESS Higher Level Products

The Land Processes Distributed Active Archive Center (LP DAAC) is pleased to announce the availability of the ECOsystem Spaceborne Thermal Radiometer Experiment on Space Station (ECOSTRESS) Level 2 through Level 4 data products, produced by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL). These data products are offered at a spatial resolution of 70 meters (m) and include: Cloud Mask, Land Surface Temperature and Emissivity, Ancillary Data Quality Assurance, Evapotranspiration, Evaporative Stress Index, and Water Use Efficiency products.

Attached to the International Space Station (ISS), ECOSTRESS measures the Earth's surface temperature to better understand how much water is used by plants. More information on ECOSTRESS can be found on the ECOSTRESS website.
