Version 2.2 of the Application for Extracting and Exploring Analysis Ready Samples (AρρEEARS) provides access to two new NASA Surface Reflectance data products from the joint NOAA/NASA Suomi National Polar-orbiting Partnership (Suomi NPP) Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS) instrument. These data provide surface reflectance measurements as 8-day composites at 500 meter resolution (VNP09H1) and 1 kilometer resolution (VNP09A1).
Additionally, users can now bulk download their area request outputs directly from AρρEEARS, as well as cancel their own request. Find out more about these features in the updated Help documentation.
About AρρEEARS
AρρEEARS offers a simple and efficient way to perform data access and transformation processes by enabling users to download only the data they need. AρρEEARS provides access to a wide range of environmental variables derived from sources such as the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) onboard the Terra and Aqua satellites, as well as population information from the Gridded Population of the World (GPW) Version 4 collection.
