Release of AρρEEARS Version 2.59

Version 2.59 of the Application for Extracting and Exploring Analysis Ready Samples (AρρEEARS) has been released. This release includes the following:

• The addition of the Daymet Daily Surface Weather Data on a 1-km Grid for North America Version 4 product from the Oak Ridge National Laboratory Distributed Active Archive Center (ORNL DAAC). The Daymet product includes variables for day length, precipitation, shortwave radiation, snow water equivalent, water vapor pressure, and minimum/maximum air temperature. This product is available starting from January 1, 1980 for continental North America and Hawaii, and starting from January 1, 1950 for Puerto Rico. The product is available up to the most recent full calendar year and is updated on an annual basis.
• Daymet Version 3 has been decommissioned from AppEEARS.

AρρEEARS offers a simple and efficient way to perform data access and transformation processes by enabling users to download only the data they need. AρρEEARS provides access to a wide range of environmental variables derived from sources such as MODIS onboard the Terra and Aqua satellites, the Soil Moisture Active Passive (SMAP) mission, as well as population information from the Gridded Population of the World (GPW) Version 4 collection.
