Release of ECOSTRESS JPL ET and ESI dis-ALEXI Data Products

The LP DAAC is pleased to announce the availability of the ECOsystem Spaceborne Thermal Radiometer Experiment on Space Station (ECOSTRESS) Level 3 Evapotranspiration (ET) and Level 4 Evaporative Stress Index (ESI) data products at a spatial resolution of 70 meters. These data products are generated by NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) using the Atmosphere Land Exchange Inverse (ALEXI) Disaggregation algorithm (dis-ALEXI).

Attached to the International Space Station (ISS), ECOSTRESS measures the Earth's surface temperature to better understand how much water is used by plants. More information on ECOSTRESS mission can be found on the ECOSTRESS website.
