The AρρEEARS API: Open for Business!

The Application for Extracting and Exploring Analysis Ready Samples (AρρEEARS) Application Programming Interface (API) has been operationally released. Most of the functionality you know and love from the AρρEEARS Graphical User Interface (GUI) is now available via the AρρEEARS API. The AρρEEARS API allows users to submit and download AρρEEARS requests via the command line or within software programming languages such as R and Python. Additionally, the API offers endpoints for other valuable AρρEEARS services such as the AρρEEARS quality service, which will decode bit-packed quality layers and return readable descriptions, much like the GUI does within the AρρEEARS visualizations.
