Who uses NASA Earth science data? Dr. Robert Wright does!

NASA Earthdata’s User Profile series recently featured Dr. Robert Wright, the Director of the Hawaii Institute of Geophysics and Planetology (HIGP), University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa and a member of the LP DAAC User Working Group. Dr. Wright uses Earth science remote sensing data in his research on active volcanoes, including developing systems to autonomously detect eruptions from space. Dr. Wright is the Principal Investigator for the HIGP’s MODVOLC project, the world’s first autonomous, global, space-based volcano monitoring system. Read the full story.
