The Application for Extracting and Exploring Analysis Ready Samples (AppEEARS) is a simple tool to subset geospatial data spatially, temporally, and by layer through area and point requests. Interactive visualizations, summary statistics, quality information enable individuals to preview data from their requests prior to download. While AppEEARS is frequently accessed through an interative website, programatic access is also available through an API.
The AppEEARS Data Resources GitHub repository provides guides, short how-tos, and tutorials to help users access and work with AppEEARS programatically. In the interest of open science, this repository has been made public and is open to contributions. The repository is actively maintained by the LP DAAC. All resources should be functional; however, changes or additions may be made. We encourage users to periodically check the repository for resource updates.
